WHAT ARE THE REASONS FOR THESE “BAGS” TO SHOW AT ALL?

Pronounced eye circles are often a signal which the body sends to warn us that something is not as it should be. It is often said that eye circles occur due to fatigue and lack of sleep, which is not always the case. The black circles around our eyes can occur for a number of reasons.

Medically, they are harmless circles that are visible in some people, due to increased pigmentation under the eyes, but also due to the sensitivity of the thin skin, under which there are noticeable capillaries and veins. However, it was found that eye bags also appear due to water retention, kidney problems, impaired metabolism, and very often indicate anemia (too few red cells in their blood).

HAVE YOU NOTICED THAT YOU ALWAYS HAVE DARK CIRCLES IN SPRING?

Then you must have an allergy of which you are not even aware. Pollen allergies are a common cause of dark circles and it’s not a bad idea for you to go to your allergist for a check-up.

You should also know that the skin around our eyes is about 4 times thinner than the skin on other parts of our face and is more pigmented, especially in people with darker complexions. The skin around the eyes is also involved in rapid movements we are often not aware of – during the day we blink about 15,000 times. Also the sun, wind, cold and dry air have e good share in skin condition.

IT’S TIME TO SWING INTO ACTION!

Here we give you a list of natural remedies for your eye bags:

Sliced cucumber–Thanks to the cold slices of this vegetable (made up of 95% water), blood vessels constrict, and thus temporarily reduce puffiness under the eyes. This method is definitely the cheapest and extremely simple, yet equally effective. You can slice a fresh cucumber from the fridge, and put it directly onto your eyes, covering the bags as well. In 10 to 15 minutes, your eyes will feel relaxed and the dark circles under your eyes will vanish.

Potatoes–They would be ideal after resting in the fridge through the night. Wash them and then cut them into thin slices. On each eye, put one reel and rest 5 to 10 minutes in the horizontal position. Remove the potato rings from the face and wash it off with cool or lukewarm water. Raw potatoes reduce the swelling around the eyes and gently lighten the dark circles, thanks to the enzymes they contain.

Milk–Plunge pieces of cotton wool in cold milk, gently drain and place them on the eyelids and eye area. Meditate in a supine position for 20 minutes to half an hour. This is good for sore eyes and dark circles too, but it should be done at least once a day.

Tea bags –Wet tea bags of choice in warm water, and then place them in the refrigerator for 5 to 10 minutes. After that, place them on your eyes and the dark circles around them, and wait for 20-30 minutes. When the suggested time has run out, wash with cold water. Chamomile or green tea bags are an especially good choice to tackle the problem.

Egg whites–Scramble the egg whites and brush them gently around your eyes, or the dark circles. As the egg whites dry, you will feel the tension, but they should also reduce the dark circles. Leave the egg whites for 20 minutes, and then rinse with cold water.

In case of emergency–The fastest way to remove dark circles is to “massage” them with an ice cube for 5 minutes. This method may be dangerous for the eyes and sinuses, so it’s only recommended for emergency cases.

DO NOT LET THE EYE BAGS SHOW AGAIN!

Sleep more, watch TV less–Now that your eye bags are gone you should try to keep it that way! It is important to get enough sleep and to avoid spending too much time in front of the TV sets at night.

Eat healthy–Our looks are closely related to our diet. Dark circles, especially the black ones, are often associated with vitamin K and B12 deficiency. So, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, especially green leafy vegetables such as spinach, cabbage, kale, etc.

Reduce salt intake as well because too much salt in your body can result in water retention, and thus cause the appearance of dark circles.

Drink enough water–But do not drink too much before bedtime because it can also result in dark circles in the morning.

Stop or reduce smoking–Smoking cigarettes brings dark circles. The dryness of skin and the lack of hydration associated with smoking are among the most common reasons for dark circles.

Almond oil–If your dark circles keep coming back, lubricate them with almond oil every morning and evening.
